Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone out there in blog land! I hope your day was filled with family and friends, excitement and joy, and lots of tasty food.

We didn't get Carina too many gifts this year since she doesn't understand what Christmas is all about quite yet. We'll save the overzealous present buying for when she can comprehend that a pleasantly plump senior citizen bounds down the chimney-we-don't-have to reward her for being a good girl ;)

So we just gave her two presents - and both were a HUGE hit!

I got the Melissa & Doug Band in a Box (NOT to be confused with Dick in a Box) on clearance for $6.20 from Bloomingdales and she is in love with it. From the Maracas to the Tambourine to the I-don't-know-what-it's-called in her mouth above - she is obsessed with this box of obnoxiousness.

She's sort of doing it wrong here, but she eventually figured out how to rock on it (more photos to come!) She likes to try to eat the antennae, too.

I have TONS of super cute pictures from the last few days on my camera, and I can't wait to share them, but we're busy packing so they will have to wait. We head to Massachusetts tomorrow to visit my family!
