I love my little girl so much, and I really enjoy spending almost all day every day with her.
But, the 20 minutes I spend in the shower while M takes care of her are awesome. It's so nice to have this tiny bit of time to myself. Some days I find myself really looking forward to it. Does feeling like this make me a bad person?

Seriously-sometimes I think you read my mind! I also have a whole new appreciation for a hot shower. It's so relaxing and when I get out I feel like a whole new person! Enjoy all 20 minutes of it - you are in NO way a bad person (um err....unless I am too-haha)
Not at all! There are days where I can't wait for E to get home so that I can run to the store and get an hour of "me" time!!!
Uh, no. It makes you a NORMAL person. I loveeee showers.
If you didn't enjoy this little piece of heaven, I'd be worried about you lol. You are in no way bad for feeling this way or admitting it!
that is still a nice thing for me 8 months later.. i love in the evening when i can take a shower or when kyle is around and can watch her if she is awake - sometimes i end up taking a 20 minute shower just so i can have more time by myself! haha
kyle just doesnt get it!
I still enjoy it, and Riley's almost a year!! the showers never get old :) Although, they do get less enjoyable when you have to wake up before the baby to take them before work :)
So funny, but I have a blog post dedicated to the shower, too! lol great minds think alike I guess!
