I can eat fudge by the pound. I'm {certainly} not proud of that, but hey, at almost 40 weeks pregnant? I do what I want ;)
Back in Madison I was sort of famous for my fudge amongst Mike's lab mates. They asked for it quite often and I was happy to oblige every now and then. That is, when I didn't eat all of it first! This recipe doesn't require a candy thermometer or even a watchful eye so it is just perfect for those of you who {like me} want amazing dessert with minimal effort.
Chocolate Fudge

2 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- Adding a couple handfuls of marshmallows and/or walnuts after stirring in the vanilla
- Creme de menthe extract instead of vanilla
- Half semi-sweet chocolate chips and half white chocolate
