Can't get enough of these faces! MailPix - Review & Giveaway! CLOSED

I just can't ever get enough of my sweet babies' faces. I love seeing them everywhere: on my computer desktop background, the lock screen of my iPhone, and most of all (of course), in person. So over the years I've gone a little crazy with photo gifts. Canvases, photo books, enlargements, photo mugs, magnets...you name it, we probably have a few of each.

I recently learned about MailPix.com, a site that helps you easily create photo gifts using photos stored on your computer, Facebook photos, and even Instagram photos (yay!) I spend quite a bit of time on Instagram and love that I can grab photos directly from there and order prints or create unique photo gifts with MailPix.

Since we have a photo canvas of Carina hanging in our dining room, I knew we needed to get one of Aurelia, too. The OMG SO CUTE one below is 8" x 10" and fits perfectly in the space between the door to the kitchen and our built-in cabinets. I love the wrapped edge and how the photo continues onto it. It took me just 30 seconds to make on the MailPix website and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Something I had never seen before in the photo gift realm that I spied on MailPix was photo ornaments! Growing up, my parents bought a special ornament for me and each of my sisters every year. We decided to continue this tradition and for our inaugural year we selected these cute 3" x 3" porcelain snowflake photo ornaments. The image is printed on one side, and a gold string for hanging is included. I only wish you could also add text. I think we'll use a Sharpie to write "2012" on the back or along one of the edges. (Pssst...a little birdie told me that if you head on over to MailPix's deals page, you can get this same ornament for only $5 through December 31st)
More about MailPix:
MailPix.com is the brainchild of Fred Lerner, a lifelong photo entrepreneur. The site was started from his concern that photo memories - stored online, on discs, in cameras and in smartphones - will be lost to future generations unless they are preserved as photo books, prints, cards, and other tangible products. He created MailPix to keep costs low and pass savings along to us. Using the latest easy-to-use web technology integrated with social media, Fred is passionate about introducing more people to the importance of “Turning Images into Memories."

I love how simple, affordable, and convenient it is to use MailPix. Next up? Maybe an Instagram pics photo book... ;)
