Danielle from UrbanWalls, an Etsy shop that specializes in vinyl wall decals, contacted me at the perfect time; the weekend we moved into our new home! I jumped at the chance to decorate Carina's new nursery with one of their amazing designs.Decals are a quick and affordable way to decorate your home without the hassle of painting or hammering nails into the wall. They are cut (with no edges or backgrounds) from a specialized vinyl that is specifically designed for home décor.
I chose the Tree Branch; I thought it would be perfect in Carina's nursery! Some of my other favorites include the Hummingbird and Cutesy Tree in the Wind. I think all of the Nursery designs are really cute, too.
For the colors, I asked for brown and green. Danielle sent light and dark green, and we just couldn't choose between the two so we actually went for a little of both. We love how it came out! At first I was a little intimidated when we started putting it up, but I soon realized how easy it was, and the instructions were really clear. I probably didn't even need M's help, but it went more quickly that way. From start to finish it took just about an hour.
What I love most about the decal is the fact that it looks painted on; you can't tell it is a decal! Carina watched as we put it up and I have caught her standing up in her crib looking and pointing at it a number of times already. The decals are also easily removable, should you decide that you would like to change your decor. Unfortunately they are not reusable.
